Big surprise there; another five star Unilocal event! Although this was meant to be a gløgg crawl, a wrench was thrown into the works but we still had a great time.(: We began at Bevars where Marie R. and Amra C. managed to get us a very cozy little room in the back. There was white gløgg all around at half price, which makes it twice as nice. It was pretty boozy with portwine and the raisins at the bottom were almost swelled up to being grapes again! My kind of gløgg! The next stop was Lulu next door, thanks to a tip from our community manager Camilla S, where there was an open bar until 8pm! Maria and Amra arranged a round of drinks for us which were beautiful with crushed blueberries and a flower floating on top. There was a lot of beautiful people there(well, not to say our group isn’t beauiful too!) but unfortunately there was a lot of said people so it was getting pretty warm in there. After another lovely cocktail tasting very strongly of ginger, we made our way to the final bar. Kind of Blue kind of disappointed us in that there was not enough gløgg left for our group. However, they made good on it by offering us gin & tonics at a discount. Now these were no ordinary cocktails; they were made with Jensen’s gin, which is one of my favourites. We had a ball talking in one of the back rooms and Thorbjørn gave us all an ‘enlightening’ intro to photography in the dim lighting of the bar. Of course we had to end the night with some food in our bellies so we went to Beyti. As usual the service was fast and the food was tasty. We also got a good show of others who had been imbibing more than us and even continued to do so inside the restaurant. I’m looking at you two young boys with a bottle of Små Grå each! All in all, it was a great night even though it didn’t go as planned. I look forward to the next crawl.(:
