I’d give this place a solid two. Not the most attentive or helpful of staff… especially when 8 women stroll in straight off their bikes. You couldn’t really miss us. Décor is nice and but there is no atmosphere. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. I very cleverly ordered my first Carlsberg of the trip here though. It was good. I ordered many more as my day continued elsewhere. Some would say too many… but no one did actually get hit by my darts… never mind. Some of the others chanced a «lager shandy»… for future reference to anyone ordering this drink: ensure the lemonade used is not one of those fancy cloudy ones or it will taste like washing up liquid. If I was in the area again I’d jump back on my bike and find somewhere else for beer.

I am not a culinary educated eater, nor are my tastebuds schooled enough to judge wether a sour milk with rye is great or not. I can, however, attest that I have had a very nice brunch at Dag H. The food was fresh, my egg still warm, and the Danish cheese was a treat! As a solo eater I really felt at home, and the staff made sure I was doing alright. When I pulled out my phone, one member of the staff came to me with the wifi password. These are small things that really made me for a valued customer. In short; a nice broad menu, nice food and very social and friendly staff. Would brunch there again!

Good location and nice atmosphere. I like it both inside and outside. Service can be a little slow, but generally they are nice. The prices are okay. Dogs are welcome only outside. A waiter is nice enough to bring water to my Lab –which makes me rate the place with 4 stars– :-)

The food here is always good and we’ve never had a problem with service. The prices here are comparable to others in this area and they have an excellent outdoor patio.

We had a smoked salmon starter, a steak with fries and bernaise sauce for main course and some beers. The starter was really good, the steak was fair but paying 60kr for tap water is ridiculous. I don’t think I will visit Dag H again.

We really liked this place. Good location, close to the S train, indoor and outdoor seating, elegant interior, great coffee, awesome brunch prices, no rush to turn tables over, good service for Copenhagen… the list goes on. I came here with 4 others for Brunch on a Sunday and it was worth it. Brunch is only 150DKK, on the lower side for CPH and the goat cheese au gratin in the Veggie brunch plate is to die for amazing!!! It it is happening place and if there weren’t so many places to try in CPH I would totally go back.

I went here several times a while back and was happy with the food and drinks. This time is was different. The café is nice, but the food was very disappointing! Furthermore we ordered smoothies just to find that they were fabric made ones, poured in a glass with some ice cubes(!) in it. Paid around 50 kr for that. Yikes! So many good cafés in this area — so don’t go to Dag H.

Before moving to London, I used to live in Oesterbro and happened to come across Dag H once in a while. It’s a posh spacious café filled with hip and hipsteress people sipping on latte or nibbling on brunch or lunch. Over the years, the place has also earned a reputation for it’s bad acoustics and for banning breast feeding mummies. The few times I’ve tried out the place I didn’t find the food all that exciting, so it wasn’t one of my go to places. But then I got a gift card to try out their champagne brunch — and given that I hadn’t visited the place for some years — I thought to put my gift card into good use and pop by to give it a try. This Sunday, I grabbed the hubby by the arm and went for a late brunch. The short review: It’s not worth it. The longer version: I had the vegetarian and Ulrik the meat brunch, and given our slight hung over state we substituted the champagne for apple and orange juice. My main concern with the food is that it is trying to be more than it is. The plates are beautifully plated, but on closer inspection it falls apart: The croissant is as good as the one you get in any 7-eleven; I figure they pre-make the yogurt with müsli on top as the müsli had lost all it’s crunch and gone soft from being in contact with the yogurt; the small suffle was chewy as a result of being a bit over-baked; the paté was probably plated some time before being served and had developed a plasticky surface; and so on. The place was really crowded, so I figure most guests look past these shortcomings. But as Copenhagen crawls with good brunch offers, this one would certainly not be on my top 10.

Cosy, pleasant décor. Competent, attentive staff. o.k. prices. Reliably good food. Difficult to see what one could improve. I’m a fan.
