Don’t order the Fish Cake Lunch Special.
At 44 DKK this seems like a great deal, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.
The fish cake is rather bland and a bit oily, the remo is weird and its veggies are kind of unidentifiable — just the bread is fine.
I finished this lunch wishing I had ordered something else…

I was honestly a little bit disappointed in the fish cake. It was mainly doughy and had a subtle fish flavor. My boyfriend, however, loved it, and gladly ate the rest of the fish cake I did not eat… so it might have been a preference for me.
During lunch you can get the lunch special of a fish cake, this mustard pickled side and rye bread. It’s very filling and affordable.
Bonus points for the super friendly lady working there! She gave great recommendations to other places to eat!

Oh how disappointing. We spent almost the entire day at the torvehallerne market — and loved almost every minute of it, except for this place. You can find amazing fresh seafood, chocolates, aperitifs, sandwiches, pasta and more — but you can also find this horrible fish cake.
Please don’t go here. We tried the fish cake thinking it would be fresh and flavorful. It was bland, mediocre, raw and bready in the middle, cold and salty.
There are so many good places at the market, don’t waste your empty tummy real estate here.

I got the luksus fish cakes and to be honest, they were just super plain, bland, and overly salty. I was confused because the woman helping me really wanted to drive through the point that these were spicy fish cakes, when they had absolutely no flavor at all other than salt.
When I got home, I heated them up on the stove, sprayed a ton of lemon on them, and made a chili mayo. They were better, but still not good. If I had not made the sauce and added lemon juice, they would just have been bland, salty, warmed fish cakes. I think I’ll try getting my fish cakes from somewhere else next time, or possibly even make my own. These are not worth it.
