The only reason I go to Baresso these days is probably because I want to sit down after a long walking /standing session. They have reasonably good coffee and nice shop /seating places. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the Round tower and on the Købmagergade so when you’re tired of shopping, you can steer off here. Wifi is included as usual. They might not serve the best coffee but it’s drinkable, albeit overpriced. Don’t forget to get a stamp on your stamp card for your purchase!

Good filter coffee(for a chain), lovely healthy snacks and very friendly service. One extra star for their free WIFI and outdoor seats which are perfect for people watching while sipping your brew.

Yes, this could be better. This chain is so big and this store is in such a nice location that the whole experience here could have been better. Place is not very cozy, and not ideal to «hygge» as all the Danish would like — and so should you when in Denmark. The stairs going up are very tiny and old, that’s mainly because of how old the building is, but they are quite slippery and hard to move. The top floor is very warm, warm in a unbearable way. Ok, it can be –15º outside but going into a +28º is not healthy nor comfortable. Drinks are meh while prices are pretty high. Believe me, you can find cheaper/nicer/better shops around here.

We wanted to try some Danish-style coffee and wanted to try Baresso so we headed to this coffee shop on our walk around the city. The coffee was really good and the croissants were wonderful. We would recommend this coffee shop to any tourists who want a tasty cup of coffee.
