Functional, but just about. It’s a book shop that has developed its café, noisy and crowded, hardly the place to enjoy a book you just bought. The advantage is that it’s empty-ish on weekends — when everything else is packed. The prices are so-$o, and the tea is ok.

Well, I mean… it’s a bookstore. And since this is a chain bookstore(and probably the most famous bookstore in Denmark), you know what you get! This particular store is my favourite of them all, with a large selection of english books, sorted into different categories. It’s 3 stories high, with a coffee shop on the middle floor(do go and check out my review of it before you decide to go!). The people working there are extremely helpful and if you’re in the wrong section for what you’re looking for, they’ll guide you to the right section so you can get help! Really my only issue with the store is that it feels like the stairs are about to break. They’re made of glass and seem really wobbly, but… you know… no one has fallen through yet! ;) They very often have sales, so if you’re looking for a good price, this is where I’d go!

this shop has a good selection on two floors and the employees are usually happy to help you find something or order it. why are books so expensive in denmark? i guess that is a subject for another post.
