Zenn Salon

Those who know me will know that I get lazy after a late night — which is almost every other night in my regular week. I have very stubborn hair that needs to be washed every day, so it’s nice to just sit back and let someone else do all the work every now and then. Zenn Salon rests in the basement of Yew Tee Point next to the food court, near walkable entrance/​exit to the car park.
I’ve never cut my hair here before (I hardly do to begin with) but I’ve come here to style it umpteen times. It usually costs me $ 20-​$ 40 depending on how dramatic the look I go for and how long into the night I need it to last. The hair stylists are friendly and I like that they don’t force you to buy their hair products. They recommend it though, if necessary. I’ve seen them work on kids too.
They always do a good job and I always get compliments so I’ll keep coming back for sure.

Feeling stuffy on my head, I knew a haircut was needed to help me think straight for a breeze to cool my scalp. While heading for a barbershop, my eyes caught sight of a hair salon called Zenn Salon. The name exudes the serenity of Zen but what made me pulled into the place was its comfortable ambience.
Spacious and simple in design, the shop commands a decent composure with smiling customers sitting and enjoying their haircut or hair styling experience. I was soon pulled to a chair and a hairstylist started trimming away my overgrown bush for a hair after giving her some instructions.
Like a skilful swordsman, a few gestures of the hand in taking swipes at my hair, I felt more and more air being let onto my scalp as the hair density got thinner. I soon felt relaxed on the chair and my head started to think off ideas on what to do during the remainder of the day.
Once my hair had settled to a reasonable length, I paid the kind staff and went on my way. The haircut was clean and tidy, which is better than what I had expected at a normal barbershop. In short, it was a satisfying experience that made my day to not be a bad hair day. Zenn Salon’s opening hours: 10am to 10pm.
