I will put 4 stars instead of 5 because the pricing is a bit high(Tiong Bahru hipster price). The place itself is very nice, spacious and clean. The staff at the front desk is friendly and courteous. Book before coming to make sure you get the stylist and the associated haircut price that goes with his level(senior,…). The haircut itself was well done and that’s the most important. These guys are meticulous yet are efficient.

Was on a business trip to Singapore and really needed a haircut. One of my colleagues recommended this place — very hip place which only does men’s cuts. They were very busy on a Friday night with all 6 chairs being used at the same time so book in advance. Was offered a drink which I could choose from cold or hot drinks — I choose a lime ginger mint tea. Darren cut my hair and did a great job. Quite a quiet chap but that’s probably the Singapore style, no small talk. But he was very thorough and took his time. Didn’t feel like he was rushing at all and total time in there was almost an hour. Total cost for a barber cut was S$ 55. They have lots of magazines to read, many men’s grooming products to buy, and even a little nook in the back where you can buy men’s shoes and accessories from local designers. Highly suggest to make a reservation in advance.

During my recent trip to Singapore, I was in dire need of a haircut so I tried a place recommend by my friend who lives locally. Made an appointment before a dinner meeting and was promptly seated with Travis Kua. Travis did an excellent job of cutting and styling my hair for me along with keeping the clippings from getting into my clothes. If you are in a hurry and want to be in and out in a few minutes(like many US barbers), this is not the place for you as the staff work more like artists and take time to do an excellent job. Looking for forward to having a straight razor shave the next time I am in town!
