This particular tenant in Farmart, Uncle William Edu & Agri Enterprise sells exotic meats like ostrich, quail, pigeon, rabbit, crocodile, etc. Out of all these though, only the spring quail meat (if I remember right) is halal. It’s lean meat and tastes no different from chicken.
It was creepy to see whole frozen crocodile legs lying in the freezer. I don’t want to know what it tastes like.
They also sell eggs for cheap. Believe it or not — a basket of 50 quail eggs only costs $ 5.80! You need to call them up earlier in the day to reserve them first, to avoid disappointment. Pigeon eggs are also available but are pricey and reservations have to be made. It costs $ 8 apiece because they’re rare. A pair of birds only produce a maximum of two eggs each month.
