American food served in American portions. In Singapore. And air-conditioned. As good as it gets! It’s ideal if you come here as a group so you can share all the yummy starters. They had fattening things like cheese fries drenched in the processed cheese that I love(there, I said it! Judge me!) The onion rings were fried perfectly. And the potato wedges were YAAAS. As much as I tried to pace myself with the starters, I surprisingly didn’t have enough room for the actual wings! I was only able to get through 2, because they were just massive. Man, the fried skin was so good. I guess I just felt so jelak afterwards. Come with an appetite. If you’re on a diet, stay away or you might relapse!

The latest outlet of Two Wings is now open at Essen@The Pinnacle. It is one of the handful of food options at this prime location HDB district. Park at carpark 1D which is the closest to the food court. Just like their outlet at Bukit Merah, they offer the same food items. We ordered the family meal meant for 3−4pax and we always have difficult finishing it! Our sides were corn, fresh cut salad and cheese fries(top up $ 1.50) 1. Popcorn Chicken $ 7.80 Their newest item to the menu which was displayed at the cashier was popcorn chicken, so we decided to give it a try. It was a huge bucket indeed. It tasted okay, I am pretty sure they didn’t make this from scratch as it tasted like the typical ones you get from any neighbourhood snack shops that caters to school children on the weekdays. BUT! The portion was still huge and we didn’t manage to finish it. The popcorn chicken itself was crispy and freshly fried. 2. Chicken Strips Just like the chicken strips I tried 3 times at Bukit Merah, I’m always amazed at how juicy their chicken strips are! Sometimes I feel that these chicken strips are better than their chicken wings! They definitely make this in house! 3. Spam Fries $ 9.90 A month ago I was told they didn’t have stock for their spam fries and now I’m glad they have it back on the menu. Sadly though, it didn’t taste anything special. For the price, I definitely know of better options elsewhere. Not to mention the spam fries were so thinly sliced, it was difficult to get it perched on a fork. 4. Cheese Fries I’m starting to realize that their portions served here are bigger than the portions at Bukit Merah! For sure, I didn’t get this same amount of fries the last time! They also more generous with the cheese sauce, which I am totally grateful for! 5. Corn The corn tasted reasonably tasty and not too salty or oily. It was a good choice if you didn’t want a carb like french fries, potato salad, tater tots. The sides we picked this time were decent and they complimented the wait for the chicken parts. We got all our sides pretty quickly and the staff sat us down and told us to wait for the buzzer to ring again to get our chicken. We were probably 75% done with our sides when our chicken parts were ready. As the chicken is made to order, you definitely should expect some waiting time. 6. 8 pieces of Chicken parts The size of the chicken parts overwhelmed me. They were ginormous! Not to mention, piping hot with steam and extremly crispy. I now know that I will always get chicken parts. I’m sorry, but their chicken wings are good but these chicken parts are so much better! I had a chicken breast which was a huge breast part and it was juicy thorough. Not one bite of the meat wasn’t tender or didn’t have chicken juices flowing out of it!!! All the chicken parts, breast, thigh or drumstick exceeded my expectation. All weren’t extremly oily but dripped in chicken juices as I wedged my fork into the chicken meat. You could also hear the crunch of the crispy exterior. Chicken partThe chicken thigh meat was so tender, smooth and juicy, I am truly won over! All in all, a great place to get super, dooper yummy chicken. After you have tried two wings, you can’t turn back! You will always crave for these delicious, juicy and tender chicken! And the same rule still applies, you can wash you hands without soap to get the chicken juices out! It’s not all oil that’s stuck to your hands while eating the chicken!
