This gift shop located at the basement of MBS is simply awesome. I wandered in here one day and found 3 or 4 items I wouldn’t mind owning. I guess I’d term it as a «luxury» gift shop with gifts you’d actually want to give people. It gets 4 stars because… the stuff I really wanted, I couldn’t afford :(.
Apart from pretty notebooks, this gift shop sells really awesome vintage replicas of ships, glass/​feather writing instruments (ok these look pretty but really aren’t for any practical purpose tbh) and random gadgets such as your ipod dock. I think you can spend quite a while wandering through the place and just picking up and looking at things (er, if you’re like me).
They also sell interesting home décor items, and games and toys — when I was there last I saw an extremely cool chess set.
Sidenote: Singapore Airlines PPS Club Card members enjoy a 10% discount on regular priced items.
