The Aroma Hub

A whiff of fresh air was what I needed as I ambled along a crowd on a hot and humid day. Having a sweaty body odour doesn’t help either after moving about at a stretch especially window-​shopping. Then, suddenly a sweet fragrance welled up from somewhere beneath me like volcanic steam rushing from a ground fissure. My nose started to play bloodhound as I tracked the wonderful scent that led me to the basement of the shopping mall.
What I found at the end of it was a decent get-​up of a shop that sells aromas! Rows of assorted aromatherapy vials line up neatly on the counter that gave off sweet smelling vapour from some gadget. Labelled boldly on top of the counter is a sign that states ‘The Aroma Hub’. That’s a nice ring to it seeing how I got pulled into the shop like mouse to a cheese, a mecca of cheese that is. I simply stood there like a sore thumb breathing whatever aroma the shop can give me till an upfront curious look from the staff broke my serenity.
She was friendly and patient with my inquiries. Vial after vial was shown as she recommended what products to use. I chose lavender scent among others. After a while, I managed to haul a few aroma vials for home. Thankfully, the shop was nearby enough to save me from a day of shopping drudgery with a healthy dose of fragrance!
