Suntec Convention Centre

Huge arena and stage. Came here for City Harvest Church’s Christmas special. I was overwhelmed by the number of people the place could seat because I don’t think I’ve ever been in an arena that grand. I can see why it’s a popular place to hold concerts and exhibitions because just the size of the place can set the mood. Good vibes. Voice echoes all throughout the room, further enhanced by the dome structure of the building.
My only problem was the lack of clear directions to the Convention center. Despite the directions and signs all over the mall, it was a bit difficult to find the entrance to the Convention Centre. Especially for a first-​time traveler having just landed and never been in Singapore, I ended up accidentally entering through one of the doors to the mall and then circling around, finally following a crowd of people that was heading towards the convention center.

Suntec Convention Centre is a very popular area for large scale events and exhibitions. Perhaps because of the ideal central area, located near MRT stations and shopping malls.
The usual electronic/​IT fairs will be held at Suntec Convention Centre and see thousands of people going in and out of the area. I do like this place as there are quite interesting stuffs to see.
The area is really huge and there are quite a number of exhibition halls that can be rented for other events. The only thing is that if there are a huge number of people expected, it tends to get really crowded and stuffy inside the hall.
