Self-storage is a relatively new concept to most Singaporeans. Yet, in recent years with HDB flats shrinking and everyone doing their best impression of karung guni(rag and bone collection), they are getting immensely popular. Having lived abroad in several different places and having to lug my belongings everywhere with me, I always liked the idea. So when my folks moved into a smaller apartment, instead of having to give/throw away most of their memories, I recommended StorHub to them. So far, our experience with this particular branch has been pleasant. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly especially towards the elderly. The place is always clean and access to the units are simple and straightforward. There is always a ready trolley around to ferry your items and they also sell a variety of materials to help with your packing. They even have a van hire service to help you move your things into storage.

The employees at this place have a sense of humour. I used to jog around Toa Payoh at nights and there was once I looked up the StorHub building and got a slight shock. There was a mannequin placed at the doors facing the windows on the top floor; and it was staring down passersby. Space management is an important issue in our airtight country, storage services like StorHub can help you to ‘look after’ your belongings that you don’t need on an everyday basis but yet can’t throw away. Been looking at your office’s bursting storeroom with exasperation every time your boss asks you to retrieve some item from it? Sort out your archives, name them in proper boxes, list your inventory(so that you know what things are inside in future) and push it all to StorHub. Bye bye! Your storage at StorHub is accessible 24 hours all year round. This means if you’ve got your wines all stored up there and you miss a particular vintage wine during Christmas eve, you can visit your unit and get it. Check out for more pictures and reviews.
