Menu is so complex and pricy. Service is very slow as well. It took us forever to get our food and had to wait between one course to the next! Food is ok and not worth the price ! I had much better meals and much cheaper !

Food, ambiance and service was good, though there are small details that could be improve, was asking for a favor in charging my phone as my battery was dead but they don’t have a charger, and no wifi. Could have been great if they have available in case of guests emergency. Would still Comr back anyway.

Best views for a restaurant. I think its the highest restaurant in Singapore. Looks out over the harbor. Food is pretty good too. Couldn’t complain.

Went for Valentine’s Day and had to do the set VDay menu at S$ 160 per person. It was an incredible let-down to say the least. We had about 7 courses and while all of them looked beautiful, none were memorable and only one was actually something that I would want to have again. Service was great, if not too over the top. Waiters would come in with a tray of dishes and stand near your table, because a second waiter was needed to put the plates on tables. But everyone was polite, warm, and welcoming – you paid for it, after all. The meal was mediocre. The only thing that was memorable was also one of the simpler courses — steak in a simple broth with a small salad(…three bites) and a small meat-filled puff pastry on top of what I assume was some sort of fruit(plums?). Stellar is not so stellar at fine, envelope-pushing-dining but unfortunately that’s exactly what it’s trying to do. All the meals were too over the top and ambitious on idea, plating, and design, but in terms of execution… not the best. The courses didn’t make sense – they didn’t flow together or have any sort of link. It seemed like the kitchen was just doing what’s trendy or popular in the food world at the moment… at the same time. My dinner date and I were left pretty speechless — often times the food on one plate didn’t go together… it just didn’t make sense. Or we would be presented with a really magnificent looking something, but one bite would prove that it was nothing but show. I was really excited about coming here and the views really are spectacular. But I would never come here again or recommend it to anyone. I paid more than S$ 400 for the dinner(not including alcohol) and it tasted like it was no more than S$ 6. Also, they charge you almost $ 10 for a bottle of Fiji water and they put it in this fancy little metal tin that’s just high enough as to not obscure the Fiji label. God bless Asia and their love of name brands.

This place is all about the view. It’s on the 61st floor of One Raffles Place(the old OUB Centre building). Came with colleagues for lunch and they let us roam around the venue to check out the view as well as go upstairs to the 1-altitude terrace to get the 360 panoramic view of Singapore atop the tallest building in Singapore. The food and service were good but nothing memorable or out of this world. The preset lunch menus were reasonably priced at $ 32++ for 2 courses and $ 38++ for 3 courses. Would I come back here? Probably, but only for work functions as it’s in the same building as my office!

We rented out the entire place for the night, for a friend’s 26th birthday party — great venue. I can’t comment on the service or food as we rented it out for a private event, so I can only comment about the venue as a private event space. We had security at the bottom to escort guests up and to ensure there were no gate-crashers. The party was big enough to accommodate the 100+ guests we had. We had buffet tables lined up on both sides, an MC, a DJ and an open bar. Guests had ample room for dancing in the middle. It’s a great space if you’re looking to hold a private event for about 100 or so people. We also had access to 1-altitude, the bar above Stellar, which has stunning views and a killer atmosphere.

I wanted to see the fireworks for National Day — and decided this would be the best place to see the fireworks and join the Nation in celebrating Singapore’s Birthday. It was close to impossible to get a table — but somehow it worked. We sat near the window, the view was stellar, and the menu was pretty comprehensive. What I Love: What I ordered was pretty okay — the food was tasty, the service was very personable, and the staff was great. Very attentive, sensitive and nice. I ordered their cocktail, A Younger Man, and I have to say, he was delicious! ;D The entrée’ was good and my main was Fish, which was fresh. What I Don’t Love: We ordered a salad as well, and it very average. The salads I make at home are wayyy more tasty. The furnishings could have been updated a little bit — like the carpet, etc.
