This is by far the smallest and most crowded Starbucks that I have ever seen and was actually a bit of a disappointment to me. The service is good, fast and you get exactly the quality products that you know from any Starbucks around the world but prepare to be forced to take your order as take away because seats are very limited.

Well, it’s a Starbucks, but as far as the airport Starbucks outlets go this is probably one of the bigger and more comfortable ones. This outlet is in the transit area F and there’s a smoking area right nearby, which I personally find very handy. One thing to note is that service can be incredibly slow and long queues can form at certain times. It’s not uncommon to spend 15 minutes waiting for your beverage. So if you’re coming here for a quick takeaway coffee before your flight you may want to reconsider. Finally, there is another Terminal 2 Starbucks venue on Unilocal, judging by the photos it refers to the one in the check-in/departures area.

Very busy and not so focused on trying to please the customer. Yes, we are passing trade or rather, transiting trade, but no need to be treated as such. The order was slow and incorrectly filled… disappointing. Much prefer Starbucks in Chiangmai

I have to admit, I don’t step into a Starbucks all that often… but when I do, I get a Chai. Ask me about this when you meet me. Anyhow, This was an early morning visit to the airport to send off the girlfriend, and we hadn’t had anything to eat or drink. After checking her in, this was the only quick option we had before she had to head in, so… we made do. The hungry girl picked up a boxed sandwich, while I got my Chai, and I observed that they were pretty busy, so I made a mental not that my drink was probably going to take a while. There weren’t many seats available — lots of others made the same choice of picking something up here before their flights, so we shuffled around a bit before someone left, and we zoomed in. This is where the understaffing bites — there were just two staff on duty at the time, so obviously neither could leave the counter to bus tables, and Singaporeans/weary travellers being who they are, tables stay un-bussed, and the empty mugs and trash gets pushed around until one or two tables look like they were recently vacated by major caffeine addicts. Cleanliness gripes aside, I’m sure if you love a Starbucks, you’ll be okay with this one, but I’m not raving about it. After all, the boxed sandwich tasted… like a box. And the Chai? I’ll tell you about it when I see you.

Die nehmen sogar Euros! Ansonsten nichts anderes als bei uns in Europa. Dafür aber sehr freundlich! ;)
