I went to Snails Nail Spa in Wheelock Place and it was the best mani and pedi experience ever, in the world! The service was speedy but polite and skillful. Mani polish lasted about 2 – 3 weeks and pedi polish lasted as long as 2 months in a very
beautiful status! Two manicurist provided mani and pedi service, which saved time, and both of them are very skillful and friendly. Salon atmosphere is modern and classy. Needless to say, very clean. I will surely visit the salon next time when I visit SG!

The two times I’ve been here for mani/​pedis its lasted longer than the other place I go to for maintenance. I just stared at my toes and my polish hasn’t really chipped for two weeks! I’m a modern dancer and dance barefeet a lot so my feet definitely take a beating. Its amazing that my pedi has lasted this long. My mani lasted about a week which is pretty good for a mani. My nails are still in good shape and I’ve taken the polish off and repainted myself (which is already chipping after two days — b/​c I’m not good at painting my own nails thats why I pay someone who knows what they’re doing to do it for me).
I like this location of SNAILs because the ambiance is quieter and more relaxing. I like Mandarin Gallery for the boutiques. There are some really interesting finds here. I definitely feel like I pamper myself when I come to SNAILs. I think this will be my upscale relaxing mani/​pedi place that I go to once every few months.

Snails at Mandarin Gallery is my to-​go whenever I need to fix my nails. If I can afford the time, I will usually do both mani+pedi (it comes up to be slightly under a hundred, I think), and if I dont, I go for the shape and polish service for both hands and feet (not more than fifty).
I’ve been there at least 50 times and have never once left disappointed. thats how good they are. The therapists are really quick, but their speed has never once compromised their quality. Sometimes when I’m in a rush and accidentally ruin my freshly painted nails, they will even take the time to re-​do or touchup the damage for me even thought its. totally my fault. I also like that unlike other parlours the therapists dont change– and in my two years I’ve seen the same few therapists.
I also really appreciate the fact that they dont hard-​sell packages or whatever. Mostly I just pay for my treatment that session– im not even sure if they do packages! They also serve really nice tea, sometimes I want to ask for more but I feel paiseh. Anyway I just love this place alot.

Snails is located in the upscale Mandarin Gallery. There is another outlet in wheelock place and i like going to this one more as it is not as crowded. They also have other services such as waxing and threading.
The manicures and pedicures are a bit pricey, but I would say that it is worth the money as they really do a good job. Ive also been for their waxing services, which is as good as a place like Strip (which is actually next door) The therapist is very friendly and makes you feel at ease.
Not a place to go regularly as its a bit pricey, but a great place to go if you want to treat and pamper yourself.
