The SkyGarden at Nex accommodates many establishments like the Serangoon Public Library, Doggiestyle Café and even a hydrotherapy avenue for babies called Babyspa. However, the main attraction of this place has got to be the Water Playground and K9 Park. Absolutely free for kids of all ages, the Water Playground is a mini version of Downtown East’s Wild Wild Wet. It features some really cool water fountains, slides and light shower mechanisms. Be sure to catch the big bucket, which drops its content full of water on children at the sound of the bell. Half the size of the big bucket at Wild Wild Wet but provides equal amounts of fun. The Water Playground is usually quite crowded during weekends. On weekdays, you’ll usually find only a handful of children playing here. Don’t forget to bring extra clothes for your little ones because none of them will be dry by the end of it. The Water Playground operates from 11am to 9pm daily. The K9 Park is also a lot of fun for both dogs and dog owners/handlers. A wide array of obstacles is available to ensure some fun and exercise for your furry friends. Plus, there’s a convenient water cooler too for them to cool off.
