Shop N Save

This is a pretty great supermarket — open late and quieter than the Sheng Siong supermarket next door. It’s not 24 hours though — like some of their other outlets — this outlet closes at 10pm. It’s very quiet — not crowded, has friendly staff — and there’s a 7 – 11 inside — which is great.
What I Love: When you’re bored and tired of the hustle and bustle of Sheng Siong next door and wanna visit something less circus like, then this Supermarket would be for you. I love visiting this store as you can get stuff that you can’t get from Sheng Siong at times. Their options are a little bit wider — they are a bigger store. They sell fresh produce — but not as fresh as Sheng Siong. Their milk, canned food, fruits and veggies are pretty well-​stocked. LOVE when they have discounts for Ice Cream, etc. The cashiers and staff are very friendly — smiling and happy to help.
What I Don’t Love: Their prices can get a little steep for certain products. So, you might spend less at Sheng Siong.

This is a 24 hour supermarket that I often frequent. Unlike some of the supermarkets located in the heartland that can be incredibly messy, this Shop N Save at Pasir Ris East is neat and organized. Although it can be a little small, this is more than enough for the daily needs and suitable for some light grocery shopping. It also has a butcher kiosk if you need larger amounts of fresh meat. One thing to note is the queue at past 11 at night could be a little longer than usual as there are less cashier counters available. Also another thing to note is that it could be crazily packed with people on weekend mornings. Other than that, enjoy your grocery shopping!
