Love, love, love this place. I got a massage here before — and it was totallyyyyy great. Great service, the manager is a very nice, professional and passionate man. I was just walking by to the salon and arranged massages for me and my friend — but we didn’t have time to get them — and we promised we would the next time. We kept our word and the next time we had time — we booked massages for ourselves — and were very pleased!
What I Love: The place smells great, the lights are nicely dimmed and the ambiance is really calm and relaxing. It’s usually full — which I can fully understand — since I had a good experience. The masseuse who massaged me was very professional, really worked on my knots in my shoulders, back and spine, and it was just heaven. It only cost $ 35 or $ 45, and it lasted for 40 minutes — which was great. They offer you tea once they’re done and chat with you a bit. The manager’s really friendly — and you can see he’s really proud of his business.
What I Don’t Love: Absolutely nothing!

I’ve patronized Refresh! Massage centres many times in the past, but the experience at this White Sands Shopping Centre branch was definitely one I would recommend to others. Stepping in, the crisp décor and furnishing was pretty much standard and very similar to the other branches I had tried such as at Jurong Point. But the staff were rude and abrupt when we were making enquiries about available appointment slots. After informing us about a lack of available slots for our massage, we were about to leave when they actually shouted at us again asking us to come back, and that they could squeeze out some time for us after all. I did not appreciate being yelled at in public at all, and would not have gone back if not for my boyfriend having a persistent neck ache!
The massage itself was satisfactory if not a tad bit rough for my liking, but I would put that down to differences in personal preference. The lady who was helping me did apologize for her colleague subtly, which I did appreciate and it helped soothe the overall ambience for us. I would think twice about patronizing this particular branch again, but aside from this incident, the prices and duration of sessions offered by Refresh is still on the more reasonable side compared to others.
