Qi Mantra

Qi Mantra is a massage and spa place that’s run by the same group that owns Strip and Browhaus. And like those two places they are also big on the hard selling of their packages, which I hate so much.
Massages here are pretty good, but a bit more pricey than the Javanese or Balinese massage places around. The vibe is more cozy and intimate which is nice but sometimes I have been in rooms that have not been as clean as I would have like them to be.
Also I had a very bad experience here with one of their staff. She was extremely rude to me and from then on, I told myself I would not come back here.

I am a fan of Qi Mantra’s in its other locations. Did not realise they also had a branch in Raffles City until I got out at Esplanade MRT for the first time and walked towards Raffles City. It’s hidden in a spot down the B1 escalators and can be quite hard to find.
I noticed they had a $ 30 for 30min off-​peak special. Not sure if it’s just for first time visitors to that branch or a daily promo you can make use of (weekdays before 5pm) but it worked great for me.
I had a superb back massage, which was exactly what I needed. At the end of it they showed me a little cute hand-​drawn chart of all the places I had problems with (i.e. my entire back) and recommended returning regularly for more remedial massages that could potentially fix those terrible knots. I will be back. Often.
