Paradiso Restaurant and Bar

I’ve only visited once, so not a well-​educated opinion, but the sole visit plus my gut instinct has me thinking that the best thing Paradiso probably has going for it, is its location. And there’s plenty of competition along Quayside Isle for Sentosa waterfront and boat views, so not a distinct comparative advantage.
Oh and the 15% (or maybe it was 20?) discount for Citi card holders was also a drawcard.
Both a bar and a restaurant, the blaring music was like a 90s bad dream. Or a Dawsons Creek weekend marathon. My advice to the bar? Get a new playlist. There were plenty of drinks options and I have to admit their margarita jugs were tempting but I just stuck to the vino, standard prices. Service was friendly, I’ll give it that.
Bathrooms (1 toilet in the bar area) could do with a regular clean especially given it was only 8pm on Saturday night.
Didn’t eat there but the menu is huge and varied… I don’t think that’s a good thing in most cases because it means you don’t do things well… look, that’s just an assumption on my part too! But I did read tripadvisor and hungrygowhere before I went… and those reviews would seem to confirm my suspicions!
So all in all, good for a quick drink and a pub snack but don’t centre your evening around this place.
