My go-to place for my daily dose of ‘kopi tilok siu dai’ & ice gula melaka teh. Do not be intimidated by the ridiculously long queue because the crew is quite efficient. Though it helps with the smooth flow if you already know your order. Their default recipe tends to fall on the sweet side so I recommend to ‘siu dai’ your drink especially the teh halia.

Nice place. Absolutely unique gula melaka tea. The tea leaves they use are of a very high quality — and it’s paired with good quality gula melaka. The long queues at almost any time of the day is testament to the quality of the product here. Always ask for less sweet if not you’d really be … sugarified in no time.

Introduced by my lunchmate to a new tea experience at Old Tea Hut. I was not impressed from the first time I had the drink and was not a fan who buys everyday but once in a while whenever I passby the place, I will take sometime to get a cup of tea. The first reason being its huge cup size(bigger than bubble tea cup size) accompanied by the low cost. Once, when the next time I pass by the place, I was shocked to find queues as long as 4−5meters. I hardly see queue that long and just for a cup of tea and mind you, it is not bubble tea. So why? Later I found out the more popular drinks are the Gula Melaka Tea and Iced Honey Lime Tea
