Navy Gateway Inn And Suites

This was absolutely the nicest NGIS I have ever stayed at. The rooms were enormous, old British style apartments with high ceilings and a bit of tropical décor. Modern amenities included a large flat screen and a full sized kitchen and medium sized dining room. Wifi and Ethernet are included. Bed was super comfortable and large. The bathroom in the room was dated but it worked fine.
There is a small gym and base shuttle to get to other parts on base.
And… Perhaps most important in Singapore, the air conditioning BLASTS cold air giving the necessary respite from the heat and humidity.

They have awesome 3 bedroom apartments for rent for only 120 USD for DoD Military.
So here are some facts:
— Has 3 separate bedrooms
— 1 bathroom in the hallway
— 1 bathroom in the master bedroom
— 1 TV in the living room
— 1 TV in the master bedroom
— Free WIFI
— Full Kitchen with Stove, sink, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, water heater
— Outside the apartment is a washer and dryer room
MRT Transportation
— I recommend that since you’re saving a ton of money, splurge a little bit… head to the front desk and have them call you a taxi to Sembawang MRT station. It’ll run you 8 bucks or so.
— Also, when returning from downtown, recommend getting off at Yishun because they seem to have more taxis available at night. Will run you 6 SG or so.
