Nestled on the 7th floor you will find numerous eateries including Nantsuttei. The ramen ain’t too shabby. A flavorful broth with all the usual trimmings that you would expect. This place seems to get busy so be prepared for a wait. Service itself was fast and efficient. Worth a visit if ramen is your thing.

Don’t come here during weekend if you are going with 6 pax. We waited almost an hour to get a seat.

Restaurant located at 7th storey, Orchard Tower. Tried their original ramen at $ 12. The taste is simply delicious! We’ve got the brochure with free egg coupon as topping. 3 of us went to the restaurant with only 2 coupon but the staff have us all free egg as topping. Very kind of her. Upon entering the restaurant, everyone greet us and we felt warmth. I will definitely go back.

Located on the seventh floor of Orchard Central, Nantsuttei is a great place for having a quick lunch. Having visited the place more than a few times for my lunch breaks, I’ve come to love the food they serve, such as their signature ramen with aromatic garlic oil and their Butamabushi, a rice bowl with stewed pork and an egg on top to finish. Having tried most of their main courses, I’m confident that you can find something to your liking and be satisfied with whatever you choose. Their side dishes deserve a mention, of course. I love their chicken Karaage served with a delectable wasabi-mayo dip, which was crispy and savoury. The additional ramen toppings such as the egg have room for improvement, but nonetheless, Nantsuttei is now one of my favourite ramen stores.

Nantsuttei is a ramen chain from Kanagawa area in Japan. And while it uses a pork broth, the first thing you notice about their signature Maru-toku chashu men is the thick black pool of broth. The broth is even more savory thanks to the black sesame oil and garlic. This top version also includes shiraga negi, bannou negi, and a healthy serving of chashu. I really enjoyed the ramen here, and didn’t need extra garlic(you can get garlic cloves and a garlic press at no additional cost) — the flavor, the beautiful pork and noodles worked really well. I’ll skip the gyoza next time. So while Nantruttei isn’t the biggest or most famous, it is a very solid choice in the über-comeptetive world of ramen here in Singapore.
