This is quite a small outlet with 3 rooms (I think) so it may be hard to get an appointment here if you can only make it on weekends or after work.
This place works for me as I usually go during lunch time and is near my work. After a few years, the place is beginning to show its age. There is no mirror in the room and the hanging hook has came off. But as I am there for a short while (15 – 20 minutes max), I am not fussed about it.
The staff keep changing but I guess you can always request for your preferred technician? Do you call them that since they operate the light machine?
After 3 – 4 years of treatment, the underarm hair has stopped growing. On my last visit, apparently there was only one strand left. As it is a lifetime treatment for underarm hair removal, I think it is a good deal.
The typical treatment plan will be one visit every 2 months until the hair is less, then it will be a 3 month period. Now that mine is gone, I am told to do a 4 – 5 months period.
For legs, most people will see results in 16 – 18 sessions (again, 2 months period first). It is a time investment for hair removal.
I do like this place and technology as the staff never does any hard selling. They will never ask you to consider taking up packages or getting new stuff all the years I have been going. You have to ask them about it.
And for your first appointment, it is actually a consultation. They need to explain to you the procedures and what it involves and if you really want it, then they will make another appointment for you to go back for the 1^st treatment.
This is almost like seeing a doctor before scheduling a procedure. Also a bit frustrating to some as we are just so used to getting things done at the same time. And just like before any major operation, you are not supposed to drink alcohol 12 hours before and after the treatment.
Always make your next appointment after the treatment as it can be hard to do last minute appointment. They will send an SMS reminder the day before your appointment.
