Definitely exceeded my expectations. The view was awesome, especially for dinner; it overlooks the waterfront at Marina. The food was heavenly; I’ve never liked bread but their squid ink bread was magnificent, their lobster risotto was to die for. Also, I’d recommend you try the sour donkey!

Still loving it. Seems like the DJ events on the patio have been discontinued due to some complaints from the surroundings(Fullerton Bay) which is a shame. Anyway, the restaurant still delivers a solid performance and they also carry a great wine assortment.

5 stars doesn’t do this restaurant justice, it was the most blissful restaurant experience I have had in many many years. It is by no means a cheap, or even moderately priced restaurant. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is sinfully good. To make things even more interesting, you pick between a Japanese, Chinese and French chef(or mix and match) for your meal. Our waiter, Roland, was delightful and had all the right recommendations. The tuna appetizer melted in my mouth and its taste blended well with the avocado it was served in. The kung pao angus beef was well… kung pao beef. The beauty is that it wasn’t just that, the beef was succulent, and definitely blew regular kung pao beef out of the water(or the grass, I suppose). Then we had dessert… which I’m at a loss for words to even begin to describe. It was a blissful masterpiece served on a plate, and we devoured it as such. Roland recommended it, and it was profiteroles with ice cream and belgian chocolate. I insisted on getting the dessert-chef to our table so I could thank him and tell him how incredibly talented he is. Overall, an outstanding restaurant — highly recommend it.

Did not dine here so this review is only for their drinks. Dropped by for a University alumni happy hour event so spent all my time outside on the terrace ordering drinks from the outdoor bar. This place is SWEET and a perfect place for drinks after work. The rooftop terrace at the top of the new OUE Bayfront building offers a fantastic view of the marina with a direct view of the MBS. There’s a nice breeze on the whole patio so you’re always comfortable without AC. What amazed me the most were the drink prices. Each vodka tonic I ordered was around $ 11 which shocked me. At a fancy beautiful venue like this, I expected the drinks to be $ 20+. Highly recommend ME@OUE for drinks!

I’ll be back just for the Chinese cuisine! Came here dinner twice already! First time here we had the chinese appetizer cod with orange and pomelo. LOVEIT! the cod just melts in your mouth and the sauce with orange and pomelo gives that sweet sour tangy taste so good so good! we ordered one serving each but still craving for more! then the hong kong kai lan was like OMG! they made the kai lan super crispy and use as garnish on top, totally amazed us and kai lan will never taste the same again! next is malaysian fried noodle. yummy but please share this as the sauce can be a bit gelat. also had a nice random chat with the shi fu. The Chinese cuisine here is by the Oriential group of restaurants based in Malaysia. All chefs trained in malaysia. Many Chinese fine dining I’ve had was disappointing but I’m so glad I now have a place to look forward to! When I was back second time they took Kai LAN off the menu though. maybe no one could do it like the shi fu :( The other cuisines French and Jap are just ok, sashimi, foie gras, wagyu bbq. I’ve had better. jap is so not worth the price. service here is very good too! Many are poached from MBS restaurants… already well trained team :) pretty quiet on Saturdays so you don’t have to reserve. awesome huh! Take note they do not open on Sundays. Shall return for a Chinese set lunch!
