Don’t get fooled by the mean look and service from the owner she knows what she’s doing for real!!! Price is fairly reasonable given the location. She knows her stuff. Embrace the service, crack few jokes with her and smile the visit will feel better…

I visit Singapore every year, staying in the Orchard Road area. Halfway through my stay, it is time to have my clothes laundered. I have found May Tailor & Laundry to be the most reliable. Reasonable prices and most importantly, socks come back in pairs (unlike at home, only one of the pair comes out of the dryer).
Headed back to Singapore in about 10 days. I’ll be visiting May Tailor & Laundry again.

May is a wonderful tailor. She works on all sorts of tailoring including alteration of high end clothes. She is that skilled.
Let’s say you’ve bought a new Dries Van Noten dress that is one size too big (on sale on Orchard), go to her and she will be able to take the whole dress in to your size that when you wear it next, the dress will fit like a glove!
If I have expensive clothes that needs major surgery, I will go to her. Minor alteration, I will do nearer to my home cause she has too much business and might take a while.
