$ 2.80 for a cup of bubble tea isn’t the cheapest but you get tons of bubble and you get to choose the sugar level. Pretty sure Koi was one of the first few bubble tea places that gave customers the option to choose the sugar level. They now have little yam cubes. I have yet to try that!

One of the earliest KOI cafes in Singapore during the second bubble tea craze, this branch is still sustaining hearty business till date. However, gone are days where you need to wait at least an hour from ordering to collecting your cup of milky goodness. The staffs are very efficient and it takes less than 15 minutes now to complete the purchase. I must say though that I still prefer Gong Cha over KOI even though I used to love their macchiato drink a lot. The macchiato is a good invention — basically green tea with a ladle of cream on top. You drink it by slitting a hole on the plastic cover to sip the combination of cream and tea instead of using a straw. It is also one of the cheapest drinks at 2.10. For the rest, I find that they tend to give too much pearls or grass jelly that makes it difficult for me to get to the actual drink itself.
