KFC Delivery

Out of quite a number of reviews that I had initially planned to select from and write today, I ended writing one that wasn’t even on the list… only because I am currently so touched after what my fair lady decided to do from all the way in the US at 0300 hrs her time to show me love and sweetness on this day. (And if you’re wondering, she’s been going at it from the moment I woke up until now… talk about being overwhelmed with sweetness.)
While KFC provides decent fried chicken and delivery accurateness in both time and items, I felt more compelled to rate them because out of all the venues and options that my fair lady was choosing from… this was not only the most convenient but also the most reliable method to surprise me with food at the doorstep a few moments right after I got home (for the second time during my stay here too!)…and all costs paid already via American plastic!
I’m truly at a loss of words. This is the second time she surprised me with KFC and a day right after I *mentioned* craving it… after skipping the freaking long line after a long day and choosing to eat something else until the next opportunity. So yeah, for all the friends who know that it has been a grueling long 8 months away from each other (with the exception of the 2 weeks in March when she visited me in Singapore), it’s been exceptionally rough. We’ve done as much as we could to keep the sparkle alive despite the 8555+ miles between us.
So yes, thank you for your awesome delivery service.
You packed everything so well… and got here so soon that the food was still piping hot. Your staff was very courteous (both times)…and you made both of us smile this day acting as one of many bridges between the North Pacific Ocean.
PS. I still think Singapore’s KFC tastes better than all the different KFC’s I’ve had in the US.

This is a very short review of KFC’s delivery service in Singapore.
I admit it. Since moving to Singapore, I’ve used KFC’s delivery service numerous times.
I always use their website for ordering.
It is easy to set up an account. It is easy to place an order. I do wish they would save credit card information though. When not paying cash, this would make the ordering process easier and more streamlined.
Each time I’ve used their service, delivery has been fast (less than 45 minutes). At times, it has been less than thirty minutes. The delivery staff has always been professional and polite.
They pack the food very neatly. The boxes they use are very sturdy. They also maintain the heat very well. The only negative with the packing is sometimes the popcorn shrimp container gets a little smashed and is not tightly closed. This is due to the irregular shape of the container. The chicken and other food items have always been hot and fresh. My only complaint about the food is that the sodas (bottles or cans) are always warm. It would be great if they had been refrigerated.
As for the food, it is KFC. It is the same KFC chicken you will find world-​wide and with the same secret spices. Like many international KFCs, they do not have the biscuits, baked beans or some other menu items available. But, even in Canada, this was true. The important stuff (chicken original, chicken extra crispy spicy, mashed potatoes & gravy, sandwiches, etc.) are there and the quality is the same as the US or Canada.
The delivery charge is $ 3.50.
Overall, I think it is a very solid service. When too lazy to wander out into the world, I will continue to use KFC’s delivery service.
