Kallang Netball Centre has been around for quite awhile, and I remember fondly my younger days frequenting the place when it was just a zinc roof shed next to the courts. These days however it’s a lot spiffier — with attached toilets, showers and lockers so you can clean up after a game.
There are 6 netball courts here, with courts 1 & 2 done up nice and with stacked seating and some shelter — this is where the important games are held. The other courts are unsheltered and have wooden benches around them, so there’s nowhere to hide if it’s really sunny or suddenly starts to rain. Still the courts are in decent condition, and it can get pretty crowded in the evenings so do book your courts early.
If you’re hungry, you can head to McDonald’s or KFC just opposite, or towards Old Airport Road Hawker Centre or Kallang Leisure Park about 10 mins walk away.
