Dr. Tay has been my family doctor since I was born. The decorations in the clinic also reflect that. But do not be misled by what is on the outside. Due to his huge wealth of experience, Dr. Tay is the most knowledgeable family doctor I have ever had and he somehow seems to be able to prescribe the most suitable medicine for whatever ailments I have. Which is why even though I have moved out of the estate, I still go back to him when I have some problems that my neighbourhood doctor cannot cure.
Dr. Tay also understand that his patients generally are generally older and less well-​to-​do and therefore he has kept his consultation fees low amidst inflation and everything else. He is a kindly, gentle and patient doctor who listens to your problems and work quietly without expecting any awards or accolades.
Do note that due to his popularity, it is common to wait for an hour or so before getting to meet him. To reduce the waiting time, call to get a queue number or get your number, ask the nurse at the counter how long it will take, and go and do some groceries shopping first.
