Forget about Song Fa or Rong Hua, this is the place where you need to be for Bak Kut Teh in Singapore. It is a bit remote as it is in the West, in the middle of a residential area(which is the reason why I did not give it 5stars) so it is a bit of the beaten path but man, it is so worth it. You order(and pay) at the counter and take a seat at the tables and plastic chairs, the uncle will serve you your food quickly at your table. The pork ribs are so soft but yet tasty and the soup is peppery but is still light and has real depth. A bonus is that you can get free refills for the soup, just go up to the counter and ask the uncle for some soup which will easily serve your entire table. As if this is not enough, they also serve braised pork knuckle which melts in your mouth and their youtiao is chewy but crispy at the same time(and not greasy at all as usual). Oh and did I mention that they are cheap as chips?(Well, actually, they are even cheaper as chips hahah). HIGHLYRECOMMENDED
