Did you know that you can come to Japan by just going down through an escalator? Well, not the real country, but I can honestly say that this is the next best thing. Japanese St. is located at the basement of Jurong Point where Japanese restaurants, a Japanese bakery, and a Japanese Takeout place. It may be a small area but the whole design of it is just so overwhelming, it definitely seems like a piece of Japan was brought back in Singapore.
I spent my first birthday in this Ramen place within the Japanese St. The place we went to was small, quite similar in Ramen places in Japan, and big bowls of ramen are served with that aromatic smoke, filled with fresh veggies and meat of our choice. It was truly a divine experience that I would gladly come back to.
For an affordable price, it was definitely a treat to enjoy at least part of the famous Japanese cuisine.
