If you’re as big of a fan of the Lifestyle network or just doing some DIY as I am, then you would definitely agree with me that the Home-​fix, The DIY store is one of those places that jump starts our imagination. This store is not just for the handy people, it is also for those who find basic fix ups a challenge.
Being a frustrated interior designer like myself, being in a store like this makes me want to buy a flat and decorate it according to my desires. But for now, I’m just settling for bits and pieces. Case in point, we bought additional curtain rods for our new place. Being both women, my mother and I are not very good at visualizing its fit on our windows– at least I know I can’t. The sales associate on duty was more than happy to assist us. He was really good at guiding us which curtain rod would be perfect for the window, but highly suggested that we take accurate measurements before buying so as to save money. How sweet is that!
It’s nice to meet some people who take the consumer’s interest first rather than the business so for our future DIY needs, we are definitely loyal customers to them.
