We got the durian mochi on this humid day. Comes with two bit size mochis for S$ 3.80. Skin was not too great (rough and soggy) but the durian was fresh and strong tasting. Sells other things like cake and puddings. Worth trying.

Forget about Four Seasons Durians or other labels claiming to grant premium quality durian. Since trying out the Durian Mochi ($ 3.80 for 2 pcs) at Hougang Mall’s Durian Mpire, my life and taste buds have never been the same again. The soft Mochi paste emits a naturally sweet taste that complements the rich and divine fresh durian filling. The mochis may be slightly smaller than Four Seasons Durians’ version but when it comes to Durian, quality is EVERYTHING. Another favourite of mine is the Durian Cheeze Slice. It combines two of the greatest foods ever: Durian and cheese! What’s not to love? This luscious dessert manages to retain a strong Durian flavour amidst the thick, creamy layer of cheese. If you’re still unconvinced, you should know that the chain has been awarded «The Best Durian Puffs In Singapore» title.
