Clementi market and food centre is home to a few of my favourite hawker stalls. I love the hustle and bustle of the market each saturday morning when I go there for my breakfast. It is located a short 5 minutes walk from the MRT and is thus very accessible.
A few good stalls to try there are Soon Lee Porridge and Heng Lee Hup Chicken Rice. There is also a stall selling one of my favourite banana fritters in Singapore but I can’t remember it’s name off-​hand unfortunately. It is however hard to miss, with its large combs of bananas hanging at its store front.

Clementi Food Centre Market is full of surprises, and lots of good food which cannot be finished trying within a day. Located near NTUC and the shopping mall as well, this place is perfect for grabbing economically priced meals that are good alternatives to the restaurants in the shopping mall.
