Burghley Squash & Tennis Centre

I used to have my tennis lessons here every Sunday. Burghley is located in a residential neighbourhood of Serangoon gardens.
There are four tennis courts and a couple of squash courts here. The tennis courts are right next to a small drain (long kang) and some terrace properties, so I always have this fear that I’d whack my balls into the windows of one of the houses (yes, I’m not that great at controlling my tennis balls yet. lol)
Typically, on a Sunday around noon time, I’d always smell a wafting scent of homecooked curry, which never fails to set my tummy churning for lunch. There isnt much amenities around though, just a vending machine which works only half the time.
The toilets are pretty old style too, and desperately in need of remodelling. Would I come back here again? Yes, because the courts seem to be always empty so it is easier to book the courts, and also because there are great lunch spots nearby (Chomp Chomp). However, dont expect much from the facilities.
PS. Not that accessible without a car.
