Not a bad place. Steak is nice but not every time it is. Ice cream are good. Sometime it may be noisy, judging by the timing you are in. Their service are good too although mostly are young adults. Over all, still acceptable to visit if didn’t have any high expectations

Only if you’re from. The North or know a northy friend would you ever chance upon this café.
Nestled between blocks and within a Community Centre, there lies a place where if I was still a beer drinking student, I’d be pretty darn happy. & sloshed.
Too much to see and want to try, I opted for the healthy grilled salmon (boooo! Groaned my stomach) and had the meal top up of minestrone and coffee and rum and raisin ice cream.
Had the choice of choosing baked potato and fries (of course I chose the baked potato)
And for 15 bucks or so, it’s a good sizeable helping! Salmon was moist and was accompanied by a very handsome slab of lemon butter.

Garlicky and sore to the mouth with the crust but oh gosh. Garlic.

A nice surprise in the heart of Yishun. Had the Pork Loins and Hawaiian Pizza (as recommended by the staff) with a $ 4.50 upgrade to a full meal of a soup, drink and ice cream. Food was ok at an affordable price but service was a little slack given that the floor was run by 3 teens on the evening we visited. May go back again if I’m in the area to try other food.

This stall is located inside the community club in Yishun and it is quite a rare find. The food and prices here are rather reasonable comparing to other western cafes. Normally i will see students or families dining there as there are schools nearby.
I like the way the shop is decorated, makes people feel really at home and makes the interior rather spacious as well. They even have set lunches and dinners which makes it even more affordable. My favourite side has to be the mushroom soup as it is thick and flavourful enough and has little mushroom bits that i can chew on.
The service standard was definitely there too and i love going back every time to try the different meals. The fish and chips is a recommended must try too. Overall an awesome experience.

I happened to chance upon this place because I was working in the north, and decided to come here upon the recommendations of my friend.
I was told that the fish and chips here are really good, and decided to give this place a try with my friend.
The whole place had a very relaxed atmosphere and the service was very friendly.
We had the fish and chips which were touted to be really good, and I have to say that this is true when I tasted it. The fish is breaded, so it’s very light and easy to finish without feeling stuffed. We had the set lunch which also came with a soup and beverages, which we found to be excellent value.
Overall, this is definitely a great place to have nice fish and chips in a very relaxed environment in the north!
