Fantastic location. Stadium MRT on circle line. Nice view of the river Kallang. Food was good, beer was nice. Service was average — maybe they were busy. Hardly able to get the staff attention throughout the evening. Overall was a good place to hang out for a quiet get together with old friends.

My family and I eat here about once a week, and the food is pretty good. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but my kids love the pizza on the kids’ menu and we like the falafel burger(though we were very disappointed when they got rid of the veggie burger last year, as it was a bit better.) The craft beer is excellent, though since it changes you can get addicted to a beer only to have it disappear, like the black raspberry ale that I used to love. I’ve tried several others and have been reasonably happy with them. The truffle fries are amazing! Service here is usually good, but gets slow if it’s crowded. The atmosphere is also pleasant, which is why we come to the Kallang restaurant instead of the other locations. However, the last 3 times that we visited the Kallang restaurant for dinner, the mosquitoes were so bad that I walked away with bites all over my legs and arms, and killed at least a dozen mozzies each time. The first time that happened, I thought that it was just a fluke, but when it happened again on our next two visits, it made my meal extremely unpleasant and I could not leave fast enough. I realize that the restaurant is located next to water, but in the four years we’ve been eating there it has never been a problem. Hopefully this is just a temporary issue, or they might start doing something to combat the mosquito problem.

Were it not for the price, this would be a great place to frequent regularly. The beer is good, service is great and the atmosphere is nice. Food, while typical bar fare, is pretty good too. I had a burger that was nice(but $ 25 — really?) and everything was pretty tasty. But, I don’t like dropping $ 200 if I can avoid it. Definitely worth a visit for a craft beer in great atmosphere but I agree with several others here to not take a huge appetite unless you have a hefty budget.

First of all, it gives me the icks to talk about a place that is called«brewekz». Apparently though, it werkz. I suppose there aren’t many bars in Singapore to get your craft beer on, so the bar chain does the job. They also have a few veggie options on their menu, if you ever are craving a bite with that drink. The veggie burger is the most respectable of them all. They’ll also modify existing options, and vegans can get their pizza without the cheese. Among the items I have tried, I’d warn you to stay away from the Angel hair pasta. Too much oil, too much pesto, too little salt, too little taste. Their beer options are okay — they have an array ranging from hopped ales to oatmeal stouts. I usually stick with the bottled options — they do serve the Rochefort beers and the three philosophers. Overall, a good spot to have around for those who are into beer. Service is always friendly, venue is plenty spacious, and you can take your kid there. So I guess it’s A-OK.

Good western dishes go good with beer. Price of food is extremely overpriced. We started avoiding main dishes because of the recent price increases over the past 2 years. New wait staff settling in after a bit of confusion and service is getting to where it use to be. This was our place to hang around for cool beer without the crazy crowds at Riverside.

I like this outlet at Kallang because it’s less packed than the Riverside one and has a nice view of the river and bridge. You can sit indoors or outdoors, and I recommend the latter because that aircon gets cold if you’re under it, and ladies in skirts beware because those metallic chairs are really chilly when you sit down! Still a reliable place to get a pint — while you can’t go wrong with the usual suspects like the golden ale, consider their fruitbrewz which changes from time to time and their seasonal beers for something a little different. You can get taster portions if you want to try a new beer. For bar snacks, go for the chicken wings and calamari… yum!

I’m not a big fan of the food here because while it’s amazingly delicious, it’s often more than I can afford. So, let’s talk about beer. Sure it’s the same beer as you’ll get in Brewerkz at Riverside, but this Brewerkz has a river of its own minus the noisy pre-party crowd(no judgement, I’m often one of them) and the tourists. Which just makes it feel a bit more like home. As I write this, I’m enjoying a pint of Golden Ale for $ 6(12pm-3pm„ it’s $ 9 from 3pm to 6pm and the price goes up from there), basking in sunshine, peace, quiet(except for a couple fighting near me, but hey, that happens everywhere) and contemplating to river just 20m from me. It does get really crowded if there’s a gig at the Indoor Stadium(it’s also the perfect place for getting a little pissed before a concert) or a football match. Other than that, it’s absolutely blissful. One problem with that is that the staff seem to be completely unprepared for huge crowds and problems like running out of glasses — resulting in cancelled orders after you’ve been waiting for half an hour — have happened more than once, but if you’re here for a bit of a getaway, it’s pretty much perfect. More happy hour prices and full food menu can be found on their website!

Yes I am a fan of Brewerkz especially the one at Kallang River. The place is chill and not as crowded(unless there’s an important football match, I suppose). So recently they eem to have changed the menu a little, but somethings are still as good. The white cheddar mash potatoes and beef ribs are fantastic. Everytime I’m here, it feels like I want to order everything. Things like potato skins, fried cheese sticks and the macaroni and cheese. It’s american food at its best, with generous portions for friends to meet drink ann be merry.
