Service is terrible. Ordered lunch set which took them 40 mins to serve as somebody make a mistake in receiving the order. 2 – 3 staff took notes when we checked about the order status but nobody made any action on it.

This is a review about the best part of my Friday last week. I was on the way to hell. Oh god, HELL. F1 Singapore is over-rated, over-priced, over-hyped and over-heated. But enough about that, this is about something good. Popped in on 19 Sep 2014, 6pm on the way to F1 for dinner. Came out of Promenade MRT and saw that the restaurant was empty. Service was friendly and prompt. The waitress was super eager to bring us our gratis desert,(More about THAT later.) Menu — Typical bbq menu, hot-pots and noodles and soups. Service — Food came very quickly(10 –15 min) after we ordered. But then we are the only table there. Food — We ordered: Korean style fried glass vermicelli(with a few pork strips) — I loved it. Sharing portion, too big for one. Even me. Nomnomnom. Noodles were chewy, not soggy. Very thin but large minced beef patty on a hot plate. Didn’t realise it at that point, but later I suspect the hotplate wasn’t even HOT. Beef patty was very flavourful, went perfectly well with plain rice. Plain rice came in a stainless steel bowl with a lid. I love those things. Soup — Kimchi seafood soup with toufu — It’s ok. Not too fiery chili hot. But temperature hot! Appetiser side dishes(free! AYCE!) — It’s ok. I asked for more kimchi and spicy aubergines. I took a picture of mashed yam. It was strange looking, alright? Desert — Crushed ice with sour plum flavour syrup. WOW. it was the most refreshing thing in the world! Sweet and sour and icy and thirst quenching. Yum. Price: Approx SGD$ 75. For 2, we ate till we nearly rolled off the chairs. Unfortunately, I can’t do crazy food eating contests like I was 25 anymore.
