Big Bookshop

I used to live around this area and whenever I needed supplies, I’d head to Big Bookshop instead of Popular at Tampines Mall. Apart from convenience, Big Bookshop has a wide variety at cheap prices. It is easy to find anything there as it is well-​organized and has a small stationery shop feel to it with the random game cards and lollipops selling near the counter. From time to time, I would walk through the shop looking at everything they have to offer, such as games, files etc. If there’s a Big Bookshop near you, I’d definitely recommend shopping there instead of the higher end stationery shops these days. You can find almost all the pens there and at a much lower price.

One of the oldest bookshops that is still standing, Big Bookshop was the place to go to back when there was no Popular bookstore to get your assessment and text books for school.
Located above a Prime supermarket, Big Bookshop occupies a space that I’ve long suspect to be a former hall, complete with a stage. The place is fairly run down, but don’t let that scare you. They are still true to their name and offer a whole lot of variety at really cheap prices too. In fact, for those who study in Temasek Poly and in the know, there’s no better place to make a run for supplies when you’re out.
Stepping in here feels like taking a trip back to the good ol’ 80s, so be if you want to reminisce and get nostalgic, there’s no better place to visit!
