Ben & Jerry’s

I was definitely thankful to see this Ben & Jerry’s after a long day of walking around Singapore Zoo in the sweltering heat. A big bowl of laksa seemed completely unappealing to these dehydrated Australians, and the prospect of some ice cream that is hard to come by at home won us over.
Given the location and the type of place, it was no surprise that there were children running around, unsure of what flavour they wanted. So it took a little while to be served. Thankfully it wasn’t the same people taking orders and processing payments, so that sped up the process a bit.
There were a bunch of different ice cream flavour options, three sizes, choice up cup or cone, or you could go all out and get it with a waffle or in a milkshake. I opted for triple caramel and was not disappointed.
The only downside was the lack of indoor seating. It would have been nice to enjoy our ice creams in air conditioning, but instead we braved the humidity outside (thankfully a typical Singapore afternoon thunderstorm rolled around).

No seating inside, just outdoors open seating next to the café. Sandwiches is available here for visitor who doesn’t want the KFC next door. The is the only other food option available at kidzworld.
