Awesome passion poured into this place with the new management. It’s already known that the whiskey selection here is impressive but with the new range of aged cocktails, this place is exceptional. I had an excellent experience to try some really exquisite whiskeys and a personally made aged tequila base old fashioned. It took 6 months to make in a wooden cask by the dude Farhan. He cooked us up a double shot whiskey sour, single malt and blended (2 separate glasses) it was lovely. Disregard past reviews because this place is now new. Farhan is the man, and he makes the experience. I will be coming back.

The service was auwful. The worse thing is, we wrote a detailed review and posted on YellowPage, it is shocking that YellowPage deleted it…

This is a great bar with a really nice and relaxed ambiance. They play old booker T and the MGs videos and silent movies on the TV. They have great cocktails and beer aside from a HUGE whiskey selection. They also have live jazz on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s nice to find a little spot to relax in a really chill atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite bars in Singapore. A tiny place but they have the best cocktails (love their French 75 and anything with real fruit!) and live jazz on Friday nights. It’s a great place to start your night and they also have happy hours where some drinks are half-​off and they go around serving very good pork sandwiches.

I chose this place as the meeting place for a double date in the neighborhood, as it sounded like a nice place to relax for happy hour and enjoy a classic cocktail.
What we got was a lot of attitude and a we-​take-​ourselves-​very-​seriously vibe. I mean, when you’re spending top $ for a cocktail (a classic martini listed at $ 35 on the menu — seriously?), and you ask for some ice water to go with, what’s with the curt «Would you like sparkling or still? We don’t sell tap.» Um, OK.
When the final person in our party of four arrived — admittedly looking more smart or casual than the «smart casual» dress code — and was told that he wasn’t welcome to stay because he didn’t adhere to their dress code, we were all too happy to pay our bill of $ 60 for 3 drinks and a bottle of eco-​unfriendly imported European still water and move on.
I guess the idea is to keep away riff raff like us. Well, it works!

B28 has a lovely ambience and an veritable encyclopaedia of whiskey available. They are really serious about their drinks here; the cocktail mixologist is Singapore’s 2009 Diageo World Class champion, the wine carefully curated by fine wine purveyor Bruno Vaillant and the craft beers are brought in by international beer judge Charles Guerrier.
There aren’t any bar snacks except during cocktail hours when complimentary pork sandwiches are served, and 15 of the cocktails are priced at $ 15 each.
B28 is a cosy intimate place with great live jazz, perfect for chilling out with friends.
