Alfred Cheng Orthodontic Clinic

What can I say? I love Dr Cheng! I have undergone orthodontics treatment (braces with him) not once, but twice– but through no fault of his, I was lazy with the retainers the first time round. His prices are fairly reasonable (even cheaper when you do it for a second time, but don’t be an idiot like me!) considering that he is a specialist and his clinic is located at MEH, and his clientele is mostly made up of school going children.
I did not have very bad teeth to begin with (slight jaw alignment issues), so there were no complications with my treatment. I have however seen pictures of his other works– all I can say is he can correct even the seemingly hopeless cases. All my cousins were also treated by him, and we are all still very happy with the results many years on.
One thing to note though, things in the clinic can get quite chaotic. I think he sees up to maybe 8 people in an hour– so dont expect to spend a lot of time in his office/​feel settled in the dentist chair. On a busy day, it can sometimes feel like a conveyor belt with the throngs of students coming in an out. A tip would be to book the first appointment at the start of the day/​right after lunch, so that you won’t have to suffer by having to wait through snowballing appointments.
