Love a place where you can get a meal and a drink for $ 4 and never have to talk to anyone. This venue has an interesting iPad ordering system. It can be a bit confusing but once you get the hang of it, it works very well. Seating in doors and on a small covered patio.

I was here late one night ordering bowl after bowl. Gahhhhhhh so good. The place was near closing and the people running the place that nigt gave me like 4 nasi lemak’s to take home. Those were also good.

This place is probably good for those who don’t take much spicy food as the laksa is not that spicy and is a pale creamy yellow. Add the chili to get the spicy kick and familiar orange-yellow gravy. The laksa is lemak enough and the noodle is al dente. The cockles are tiny but it could be due to the season as other places are also serving tiny sized cockles. There are probably other places which serve better tasting laksa but I guess for Holland Village, this is one of the better ones around. The ordering system is too high tech for me and I find it takes longer when the place is not busy. But I can see how it will be a great help to the owners during peak periods.

Hi-tech ordering system! You place your order via iPad and grab one beepers and sit down to wait for your order. You can even customize your order in the screen so that you can add additional veggies, fish fillet, etc. cool! We went for the nasi lemak, and greedily ordered another bowl of laksa to share. Some of my friends love drenching the nasi lemak with the laksa gravy, and slurping up the delish gravy wet rice. I prefer my food separate so that you taste them in their own right! Order the otah(banana leaf wrapped fish paste). It is a good combination with the laksa and nasi lemak! Local yumminess at its best!

I’ve been eating at this old stalwart of Holland Village for over 15 years, and they’re still serving the same good old laksa and nasi lemak. Prices haven’t gone up by much — a regular bowl of laksa costs just $ 4. The broth is rich and spicy, and their chili true. One of the most reasonable and delicious hole in the wall outlets in Holland Village. Tip: Always order some otah on the side.

Hot and spicy coconut broth, pre-cut noodles for the chopsticks-challenged and a generous helping of seafood. Makes for a great weekday lunch. A couple of side orders of Otak can be shared among lunch companions and are needed in order to pull through until dinner — the portion of Laksa is on the small side. Damn this iPhone app makes writing reviews easy. My third today.

I have mild Laksa obsession, and am perhaps as much of an aficionado as is possible for an ex-patriot… 363 Katong Laksa is easily the best I have found in Singapore. They use much higher quality ingredients and curry paste than elsewhere(including in Katong), with the possible exception of one or two Assam Laksa venues in Penang, Malaysia. The noodles are cut in Katong style, so the dish is enjoyed using only a spoon. The family that owns/runs this restaurant is lovely and will remember your preferences after only a few visits. A complete, objectively excellent, meal with drink is only $ 5 or $ 6 — unbelievably low for Holland Village. They serve other food as well, but it would be a tragedy to come here and not enjoy the Laksa. Unless you are experienced with shellfish I would advise requesting ‘no cockles.’ Also, approximately 7pm is the best time to enjoy Laksa, as the noodles fully absorb the paste around this time. A rare and authentic gem in Singapore and very highly recommended.

This place is good but I find myself questioning me this: Why do I come here when Queensway Shopping Centre has something better?

363 Katong Laksa serves pretty good Katong Laksa(rice noodle with coconut-based curry soup). If you are one those laksa fans, you won’t be disappointed by what this stall has to offer. Just wish that the portion is larger or comes cheaper.

Not the best bowl of Katong laksa outdoor but still very decent. It’s lemak enough and if you like hum, the serving is pretty generous Prices are a bit higher than average but there are meal combos where you can get an otah and a drink with your laksa. The otah is pretty average though so I wouldn’t recommend ordering those on their own. It’s self-service and the shop is pretty small and can get crowded so it helps to have someone with you to help chope seats. Service is ok… the cook who actually prepares the laksa can be super grumpy. Don’t mind him if he starts banging your bowls about or frowning at you. i think he’s always like that.

If you’re in the Holland Village vicinity and feel like having a nice bowl of piping, hot spicy something– Katong Laksa will help satisfy your craving. Katong laksa is a popular dish here in Singapore and this is a pretty good one. White rice noodles cooked in cocunut based gravy Hawker eatery style, you order at the counter, pay and bring your own food tray to the table. Best eaten with ‘everything in’, prawns, cockles, fish cake sliced and mixed in with dashes of condiments chilli and parsley flakes(these are found on every table). I normally have mine with a side order of two ‘Otak’s which is a spicy fish paste that’s cooked under a flame wrapped in fragrant leaves. Not particulary filling unless you ask for an ‘upsize’ but always enjoyable. The downside is that there isn’t all that much seating space and it can get pretty hot sitting outside. This is cheap and good. A must try Singaporean food experience.
