One of the best rooftop bars in Singapore! In clear nights you can see all of Singapore skyline in its awesome glory. the drinks are expensive and there is a cover charge but the place is electric on a Friday night. definitely worth visiting if you like to party!

Wonderful view(hence the extra star), understand the price and didn’t find it too expensive. Just watch out, cause the bouncers are on a power trip — do the slightest thing wrong and you’ll get shouted at and treated like a dog. Will make sure I never bring anyone back to fightclub again, so many other choices around and frankly, maybe 30 meters lower — but with way cheaper and better service.

We hit up 1-Altitude Gallery & Bar for ladies night on Wednesday since its free cover for the ladies and we heard $ 10 martinis. Unfortunately it has rained and the roof deck bar was temporarily closed but we decided to wait it out which I was glad it workout out. The bar below the roof deck was extremely loud and my friend ask for a dirty martin but that wasn’t part of the special I couldn’t hear what the bartend was telling her at all. She could barely heard him but got a cosmo which was on specially but she said was horrible so I was glad I couldn’t hear him and ended up with a wine, you can’t mess up wine. Drinks were pricey but you’re paying for the view which was worth waiting out because it was gorgeous. Way better than CELAVI, the outdoor area was much more spacious as well. Defiantly worth one drink for the view but then I’d say go elsewhere.

Easily one of the best views in Singapore, hands down. I went early around 7ish on a Friday night, and they had a band playing, which were actually quite good. The cover charge is a bit weird $ 25 to get in, for a drink which you have to choose right away. The views really are amazing, no doubt, so it’s worth it to go at least once. It’s a great date place, or place to unwind after a long day at work. Not sure it this is going to be on my rotation of bars, but definitely worth a stop in.

Wonderful views of Singapore. My boss said it was cool to expense our lounge and bar visits even though I came here solely for the view. I got all dressed up and met up w/my colleagues. There is a cover charge($ 45SGD) and you can pick 2 drinks from the menu(a section only). I gave my 2 drinks to my colleagues. Am definitely not a drinker. There were a lot of people in their casual wear; cargo shorts, sneakers, flip flops, etc. so I felt a little over-dressed but for the first 20 minutes, I seemed to enjoy the vibes but after a few songs that reminded me of my kids, I felt sad and wasn’t feeling the house music. I missed my kids. After going to the rooftop(call ahead because they do close it due to weather), I felt I had enough and left. My colleagues stayed but I chose to walk back to the hotel. I would recommend coming here once. Singapore is truly a breathtaking country where no one sleeps; bars and lounges close at 4AM. Alcohol is expensive from what I can see so but that did not stop people from getting trashed. I witnessed 2 girls fall as I was walking out and it terrified me. Control your fuckin’ selves.

This review is intended for altimate as there isn’t a specific page for it. Location One raffles place, its located at the very prime area of CBD. The train station is just a few metres away if you wish to go public. Pretty convenient to get to. Reception You can find the reception counter at level 1 with many queue lines, its not obvious to miss it. Our small setback is that we have to wait for quite sometime to be let up, i don’t really get how they priortise who they will let up in the lift first, the longest we waited was about 30 mins just to get into the lift. Which we never had to wait that long for any clubs to get in. So i suggest for you people who gonna show up with your friends guestlist or walk in be early, lines gonna get crazy. Interior Pretty standard club, no artsy fatsy stuff. Surrounded with glass panel all around that because it meant for an office space. But the view is awesome though, if you have time take a walk around the club, you can see the city lighted up in all directions. The club its filled with tables and sofa all around and a medium size dance floor for you to groove. What i really like is their laser lightings and LED panels, its a long stretch up to the dj booth. The whole effect makes you trippy when your high. Service So far we didnt had any issues with the service staff, all of them were very polite, helpfull and professional. There a few vip host around that are pretty too, but don’t try your luck! respect them they are there for a reason. Work! Crowd Oh yeahh the crowd mostly are in their 20’s still very teeny unless you head up to the rooftop bar its a different enivroment and age group you get. Conclusion There are not many high floor clubs, this is one of them you should check out.

The world’s highest al fresco bar… but it comes at a price! There is a cover charge to get in, however if you are visiting Singapore, it is certainly worth is for the amazing views of the city(and country on a clear day) below. Be warned though, in some places you will pick up an Indonesian mobile phone network instead of the local one! Service is very good if you have a table(which come at a cost), although not so good if you do not. The best way to get in for a reasonable price is to come in a group and order a bottle of liquor which you can leave at the bar for complimentary entry the next time so you can finish it off. Of course this also comes at a price, but it is worthwhile if you want to come back a second time and have a few people with you. The place is pretty dressy, so guys make sure you have real shoes on in this place and no shoes. Tis is a great place for the company tab so you get seats and service, or as a pre-drink to see the view, but not a place for a night out drinking unless it is on a promo night — pricey place, but you do pay for the view.

Enjoy it

Really cool spot. I came here on a tuesday night, 2 days after going to ce la vi at bayshore gardens. Altitude was sooo much better. It’s a much better view of the city, better drinks, better service, better environment, more space, and better value for the money. Only downer was a lame cover band trying their hardest to engage a disinterested crowd. Really, the view was astonishing, i could look at it for hours. Just a really cool spot.

There is really only one reason to go to 1Altitude and that is to show friends and family who might be visiting, as the view is really unlike anything else. If you are local, the bar is a different story. The cover charge isn’t worth the the bar and unless trying to wow coworkers or a date there are better places to go for a drink. 1Alt is very strict on dress code(no shorts except for Sundays and Monday’s) they also hold up the line despite there not being anyone inside the club. The service inside is also subpar and the drinks are fairly pricy. To summarize 1Alt is awesome to go once but becomes quickly expensive and old if you frequent here.

As a tourist this is one of the places you HAVE to visit. Ignore the price(but be prepared to pay through the nose) and hope that both lifts work(one broke down whilst we were there), and be prepared for an amazing open to the elements rooftop bar. Once you get there, the views are incredible if a little terrorising for those of us who aren’t great with heights!, and that’s really the point, you are hear for the experience, not necessarily for great service. I’ll be honest, this is the kind of place you’d see on TV adverts or cool movies, the type of place the good and beautiful people visit whilst flashing their Rolex watches and wearing… well I dunno, expensive clothes. I am not one of those people, but this bar is kinda cool with that too even if I did feel a bit out of place in my polo shirt and shorts. Worth a visit for sure and is definitely the highest bar I’ve ever been in!

Pricey but impressive. The choices of dj are spectacular but the crowd is something else to be desired. The crowd seems extremely young and it would be good for people between 18 to 22. If you’re above that age range there are places that would feel more right. However the atmosphere is great and the energy will keep you going.

We enjoyed our time at 1-Altitude. We are new to Singapore so a friend took us as a «must see» spot. Fortunately, it was ladies night. I was able to get in free and my husband paid the $ 30 cover and received a free drink with it. I took advantage of the $ 10 Martini special. I expect bars like this to be pricey, especially in Singapore where everything is pricey! The incredible view was well worth the money. This is the tallest al fresco bar in the world thus making the view seem never ending. We came early(around 9:30) and only stayed 45 minutes or so. We really enjoyed it and every tourist and resident should see the view.

I went on Wednesday which was Ladies’ Night. I read somewhere that ladies get a free drink but when I asked the bartender he told me that the Ladies’ Night there’s just the $ 10 martini special. The female bartender accidentally charged for $ 125 for my $ 10 drink… that was a bad impression from the start since I had to wait for them to void my check and charge my drink correctly, but aside from that the view here is breath-taking. You pretty much get a 360 view of Singapore on the 63rd floor. The music was good and they even had live singing performances. The place is nice, cool neon high tops and seating. The lychee martini was pretty watery and I was very disappointed. You would’ve thought a nice place like this would have great drinks.

Altitude Bar at One Raffles Place does indeed have a fantastic view of all of Singapore. Looking down on Marina Bay Sands is surreal. It’s a little eerie as the protective railing only goes up to about chest height. The rest of the bar has a bit to be desired. Drinks served out of plastic glasses that don’t seem to be the cleanest in the world. Some helpful staff(offered to take pictures), other less than helpful staff with confusion of what bar to get your prepaid drink from and the inability to change your drink order even though you pay $ 30 for the prepaid drink regardless!!! Went to Marina Bay Sands prior and no pre-paid drink was needed to go to the top and overall a nicer bar scene. Of course I don’t expect every bar to be Ku De Ta but this was a bit more Kappa Delta Ta. :)

For tourists, this is probably one out of a couple nice rooftop lounges with an amazing view of Marina Bay. As a tourist myself, I was taken here for some drinks and loved it! Not a fan of the humid and rainy weather in Singapore, but at night when it’s cooler and you’re not going to be perspiring your butt off, it’s great. 1-Altitude gives you 360 degree views of Singapore, so it’s a great photo/tourist spot. Would not recommend coming here if you are afraid of heights and definitely don’t recommend being wasted and leaning on the glass no matter how sturdy it is :) The cover charge here is a bit steep at $ 30/per person, but it includes a drink, so not so bad. I obliged and ordered a Singapore Sling(I had to, right?) — wasn’t my favorite drink as I don’t really enjoy pineapple juice, but it masks the(lack) of alcohol quite well. According to Wikipedia, it’s supposed to have all sorts of ingredients but we’re pretty sure we only saw the bartender mix 4 things together. Drinks also range from about $ 16-$ 20++++. It started raining towards the end of the night, in which they rush everyone downstairs to Altimate. Altimate smells a bit like old puke that was poorly cleaned up. No matter which couch I tried lounging up on, I would get that whiff of grossness. Yikes. They serve the same drinks as upstairs and they have a boring dance floor with weird crowd, at least on Tuesday nights. 1-Altitude is worth the cost(kind of) for the experience and views of Singapore. Decent music also.

The price to get in is to high; the music is to loud(for an old guy like me) and I always seem to forget my way when trying to find the building so I walk longer than I have to and end up arriving with a shirt soaked in sweat. BUT, the view is spectacular. I have been to most rooftops in Singapore and none comes close to this. Not only do you get a unobstructed 360 view; you also get to look straight down on the city(.while most rooftop bars have a ledge between the fence and edge of the building, this one has the glass«fence» right on the edge) including a great birds eye view of Boat Quay. I take all my visitors to Sinagpore here.

1-Altitude is on top of the One Raffles Place high-rise and actually higher up than any of the surrounding buildings, including Marina Bay Sands. For that reason alone, it is worth a visit, as the views are pretty spectacular. There is a $ 30 entrance fee that includes one crappy sweet drink. I went on a week night around 7:30PM and found it quite empty. The crowd was very touristy and the music lame. A local Singapore friend had never heard of the place, I guess that says it all. I do think it is worth the entrance fee for the view.

Spent tonight on top of the tallest building in Singapore. The vibe is visually sexy with the silhouette backdrops, multicolor lighting, exotic trees, modern décor, and rooftop breeze. To be able to enjoy this, you must pay a modest $ 25 fee which actually comes with a cocktail. I chose the Mojito which tasted like Sprite and a few pieces of Mint. The bartenders in Singapore are über stingy when it comes to adding alcohol to cocktails. The food wasn’t too memorable. Ate part of a humongous burger. It was juicy but nothing that’ll register in my inner tastebud database. I must admit I enjoyed walking around the place staring at Singapore. I found it mind boggling how tiny and lowly the Marina Sands appeared. I also noticed a hawk gliding about. At first, I thought it was a real predatory bird just hanging out about this place digging the views like everyone on top. But eventually I caught on that it was probably a bird drone being operated by someone. Enjoyed the band and DJ but would ask them: could you turn down the volume? That was my only complaint. The place should be renamed to «cluB HuH???» Because I couldn’t carry an audible conversation here. All and all, It’s fun and something I’d recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried it. Great vibes and atmosphere here atop Singapore but don’t expect much alcohol on your cocktails or to hear much.

Absolute Empfehlung!

I’ve been to this place twice and both times it was for some special occasion where I didn’t plan ahead or just didn’t know where the happening places are. The first time was for the National Day 2012 — one of my first times in Singapore. The rooftop deck was a great venue for observing the fireworks WAAAAY down there. It was weird looking down at fireworks but I guess that’s what happens when you’re in the tallest building in Singapore! They charged $ 48 per person but included 2 drinks that were not memorable. The second time was to see the last night of the 2013F1 races. They charged $ 68 per person but this time included 3 drinks. We opted for gin and tonic. One of the 3 drinks is a special F1 drink they made upstairs — some kind of gin sangria that was not bad. The rooftop deck was far from crowded, it was actually kind of dead up there but the one side of the rooftop that had fantastic views of the races was actually roped off for people who reserved tables. You can stand behind the ropes but have to peek through a bunch of other people standing in front of you to catch a glimpse of ant sized race cars whizzing around. Again, too high to feel the rumble of the engines. We went 2 stories down to the sports bar which was TOTALLY empty and found a PRIME window with a perfect view of the races. Other pluses were that it was air conditioned and they had TVs showing the live broadcast of the races on every wall. So not only did we get to see the real thing right in front of us but also hear the announcer and see the close-up action on the TV screens. Awesome! The bites we ordered were pretty good and decently priced — burger and chips for $ 24, chili cheese nachos for $ 14. All in all a great way to experience our first Singapore F1 with zero foresight or planning ahead of time. Not bad! Oops, I lied. Just remembering I’ve been here 3 times, one other time was taking an out of town colleague to lunch and showing her the view from the deck. Totally dead and empty during lunch, hope this place survives!

Was will man mehr.
