Prive Grill

More hidden/​quieter area of Singapore. Nice for relaxing and a drink. Big outdoor space

The restaurant is one of the many restaurants under Prive Group. It is located at Marina at Keppel Bay, which offers a nice relaxing of the harbour. The restaurant specializes in modern French-​inspired cuisine. The restaurant is decorated with cozy and sophisticated feel. Tonite we are having the set dinner which costs $ 35++ per person which is offered during the restaurant week. We start the meal with 3 types of bread, served with olive oil and vinegar.
For starters :
Poached Irish Oysters
Wilted spinach, avruga, chive-​champagne sauce
I usually have oysters in raw. Although they are poached, the taste is not a big different. It goes quite well with the rich cream sauce.
Beef Consommé
Truffled beef cheeks ravioli, Japanese white radish, julienne leeks
The plain looking soup is quite flavourful.
For mains, we are having
Grand Marnier Flambéed Maine Lobster Tail
Seared duck liver, mushroom herb risotto, shallot-​red wine gastrique
The lobster is quite meaty and juicy. I am surprised by the sizeable piece of melt in the mouth duck liver. The risotto is well cooked and creamy.

Potato mousseline, slow-​cooked baby carrots, tarragon chimichurri, béarnaise
I am a bit disappointed that the staff has not asked how I would like the steak to be done when taking the order. The steak is served medium well and goes well with the herb sauce.
Lastly desserts :
Warm Chocolate & Peanut Butter Fondant
Salted caramel honey comb, vanilla bean ice cream
Although the cake looks dry, it is just nice hot and slightly crispy edge with the molten peanut butter which flows out like lava.
Banoffee Pie
Vanilla cream Chantilly, chocolate shavings
The pie is a bit deconstructed, but the flavours come together nicely.
Overall the food is great. Service is not bad too. Light a bit so it is a bit difficult to take a good picture of the food, especially when we are seated at a dark end. The restaurant has a cozy and relaxing feel which makes one enjoys the meal very much.
