Metro Los Héroes

Una de las estaciones de metro con combinación más repleta de la vida y del
Mundo mundial. Solo hay que tener mucha paciencia entre marzo hasta comienzo de enero.
Animo para el que pase por aquí, por que subirse al tren… Es un verdadero desafío!

Ésta es una de las estaciones de Metro más importantes y emblemáticas de Santiago, porque aquí está la combinación entre la línea 1 y la línea 2, uniendo la zona central de la capital con las comunas ubicadas al sur y al norte de la Región Metropolitana.
Además es un punto de encuentro común, porque alrededor de la estación se ubicaron muchas universidades, justamente para facilitar el acceso de sus estudiantes, conformándose también el Barrio Universitario.
Como todas las estaciones en que se hacen combinaciones, ésta es una de las más concurridas por miles de personas diariamente, sobre todo en las horas peaks, cuando de verdad la gente te empuja para entrar a los vagones, es complicado salir de ellos y debes cuidar tus pertenencias con el doble de atención.

This major transfer station is horrible in the mornings. It is located in El Barrio Universitario (the university neighborhood) which is exactly what it sounds like. Lots of of students and lots of universities.
Because this metro station is right in the middle of the University neighborhood lots of students are going to and from this metro station in the mornings. If you get on the metro here around 7:30 am you should be fine. Anything after 7:30, between 8 am and 10am and be ready to wait for the mad rush of people getting on and off the metro.
Besides the terrible rush hours this metro station is super convenient as it connects the red line with the yellow line. In fact it is one of the few metro stations that transfers to the yellow line. Be careful not to get lost in this metro station as it is one of the bigger ones in Santiago.
