Decoracake

A year ago I bought the domain name
and decided I would start to be a baker (easy, right?). I make delicious cakes and cupcakes so why not? I started searching for decorations, pans, all the utensils I would need to get my business off the ground and that is when I came across Decoracake.
Located in Barrio Italia, Decoracake is surrounded by cutesy shops and beautiful architecture. I was able to find everything I needed to make cake pops, cupcakes and regular cakes with all of the products I knew from home.
Although I wish I could, the prices are a bit high here, so I can shop exclusivey at Decoracake. For the more simple, common baking supplies I found them close to Mercado Central, but for the special decorations and icings I go to Decoracake — they have everything!
My favorite, is their shimmer dust which adds a glitzy touch to any birthday cake (it has everyone second guessing whether it is edible or not — it is)!
They also sell some great cake decorating sets — it is important to have a good quality set to making decorating easier.
They also provide delivery if you order via their website!
I have everything: the ingredients, great cakes and the perfect tools to make them however, I am just missing one thing: the artistic flair. Now, I just need to take some lessons…

Este lugar es excelente para quienes gustamos de la repostería. A mi me encanta hacer cosas ricas y lindas, creo que viene de una tradición pastelera familiar, por eso siempre busco lugares en donde comprar artículos que me ayuden en mi creaciones.
En DecoraCake puedes encontrar todo para trabajar en fondant, desde cortadores, tintas, spray para difuminado etc. También puedes encontrar todo para hacer lindos cupcakes como capsulas, moldes, rellenadores etc.
Los precios son más bien caros ya que todo es importado, pero si quieres hacer trabajos de otro mundo de verdad que vale la pena venir aquí.

Andaba en búsqueda de aerosol comestible para decorar una torta con una amiga repostera y llegamos a este local casi por casualidad.
El lugar es muy agradable y según lo que nos contó su misma dueña quien también lo atiende llevan muy poquito tiempo en el sector. En la tienda tienen un surtido increíble y divertido de todo tipo de cosas para los reposteros más osados y creativos.
En la tienda tienen de todo y cuando digo de todo es porque tienen de todo desde moldes, sprinkles, marcadores comestibles, gel comestible, colorantes, etc. Sin duda un lugar muy completo que tienen que manejar como opción si quieren hacer algo entretenido y colorido para alguna ocasión especial.

Iba conejeando por el Barrio Italia cuando me topé con esta tienda muy llamativa. Según su dueña, muy amable para atender, había partido por internet y lleva solo unos meses establecida. Para mi sorpresa estaba realmente completo con todos los artículos de repostería que uno pueda imaginar: múltiples moldes para tortas, moldes de muffins, colorantes, chispas para decorar y mucho más.
Si son fans de la repostería, ¡tienen que pasar a ver el local! Además se informa de otras actividades como cursos de arte culinario.
