They always seem to have the jalapeño cream cheese taquitos I crave late at night. A few times I have travelled to this location because the other location nearby seems to think that people won’t be hungry after a late night of drinking on the weekend.

Walked into the local 7-Eleven store today, and bought a slurpee. While I was getting the slurpee my girlfriend was looking at the magazines, and got a paper cut from one of the magazines. I paid for my slurpee, and then she showed me her finger. I asked the female cashier if she had a band-aid that my girlfriend could use since she was«injured» at the 7-eleven. The cashier proceeds to try to get me to purchase a package of band-aids for my girlfriend’s bleeding finger. I said no thanks, I didn’t come to 7-eleven to purchase band-aids and that my girlfriend cut her finger on one of the magazines. She said so you don’t want to buy the band-aids? I told her no, and then my girlfriend and I then left. My girlfriend then asked me to go back in and get a napkin to try to get her finger to quit bleeding. Of course there was no napkins to be found where self-serve drinks and coffee area, totally empty in places. I then ask the cashier if I could have a napkin, she gives me one and then she has the nerve to ask if I had paid for my slurpee. I said, yeah, ask him the male cashier that rang me up minutes earlier and I left. By Ontario law, every place of employment is required by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board –Regulation 1101. Although the incident should have been recorded and appropriate first aid rendered, the least the 7-Eleven employee could have done was give a patron a band-aid when the patron was injured in their store. Instead, the female cashier was rude and accused me of stealing the slurpee that I believe she saw me purchase earlier.

I needed a Slurpee on a hot day and this store came though. I was expecting to come in and not be able to get the flavours I wanted because it was one of the first warm days of the year but all was good. Too bad the staff weren’t a little more friendly.
